We live at the pool over summer and this is the only towel my son doesn’t try to rip off. The hood actually stays up while he’s running around, and it dries fast enough to reuse for a second swim the same afternoon. The print gets stopped by other mums constantly.

My daughter is 3 and puts this on herself now, which was not something I expected from a towel. No more wrestling a wet toddler into a beach towel that won’t stay wrapped. Worth it just for that.

Bought this as a baby shower gift and ended up ordering one for myself too. So soft against newborn skin and breathable enough for Melbourne’s weird weather swings. Folds down small enough to live in the nappy bag permanently.

Two swim lessons a week and this thing has held up better than I expected. Colour hasn’t faded, stitching is still solid. My son calls it his cape, which is a bonus nobody warned me about.

Bought the poncho first for beach days, went back for the blanket a few weeks later. Both get used weekly. The poncho is the one my toddler actually asks for by name now, and the blanket lives in the car for random naps.
